Week 6 Assignment - Lily Delperdang
The advantages of sketching wireframes instead of using a software include full flexibility to rearrange and organize your elements. Traditional mediums also allow you to be more creative, and work faster, however they tend to capture less detail. Sketching cannot display different fonts or graphics, and elements can be inconsistent.
Some wireframing softwares can be limited and only a few softwares are actually helpful and innovative. Designing softwares have advantages like being professional, easy to collaborate on, and have advanced interactions. With graphics editing softwares, an experienced user could use this software with speed and convenience, but for someone who's inexperienced, it would be a lot harder.
I plan to draw it out, either with pen and paper, or Adobe Photoshop. I would prefer to draw it how I want so that I have full freedom to plan what I want the outcome to look like and experiment. I'm not sure how I want my final website to look like so being able to draw, change, erase, and save multiple versions will help me best. Starting with a low-fidelity wireframe will help me create a high-fidelity version later.
This is a sketched out wireframe of my semester project.
